Our Second Home in the Brainerd Lakes Area
The Web Shack is very excited to announce that we are NOW SERVING THE ENTIRE BRAINERD LAKES AREA!
In 2015, we launched a second summer location in the beautiful Brainerd Lakes Area near Nisswa and Pequot Lakes. Â This is is especially exciting for Joy as Nisswa is her hometown.
Nisswa and Pequot Lakes will always be HOME to me. They say you can never go home again, but I disagree. You can go back to where your best memories reside. You can return to the sights, smells, sounds, and PEOPLE that hold a special place in your heart. My family goes back many generations in this beautiful area and it will ALWAYS be home and will ALWAYS hold that place in my heart. I am so happy to be back. -- Joy
Joy’s family has been a part of the Nisswa and Pequot area for many generations.  Her great-grandfather, Tonjes Chapin, was the contractor for Grand View Lodge, Pequot’s Cole Memorial Building, and parts of Breezy Point, including the beautiful stone masonry work.  Her great-grandparents and grandparents were early settlers in Pequot Lakes.  Joy’s family owned and operated Tower Pizza in Nisswa for many years.  Joy spent many summers in the pizza shop serving locals and tourists alike – and delivering pizzas to local shop owners in Nisswa.  Her childhood was spent enjoying the natural beauty of the area lakes – Gull Lake Chain, Whitefish Chain, Pelican Lake, North Long Lake, Round Lake, and countless others – and camping all over beautiful North Central Minnesota in Nevis, Walker, Hackensack, Longville, Crosslake, Fifty Lakes, Emily, and nearly everywhere in between.
Simply put … this area has always been HOME.  Now The Web Shack also has a home here – and our family is back, enjoying the beautiful lakes area and creating memories together to last another lifetime.  We are thrilled to once again call this area home and provide web design, hosting, social media marketing, and photography for the cities of Brainerd, Baxter, Nisswa, Pequot Lakes, Pine River, Breezy Point, Crosslake and the entire lakes area.
